Getting started

I got the passage side fender, most of the interior and front bumper off.

Here are some pictures of the pre-restore. I had my freind Brian take a look yesterday to give me some pointers on where to start on the body work, and what to fix and what to replace.

Gettting the MG home

Bright and early Saturday morning we picked up the MG. It made the 40 mile trip well with only a small issue with a tire. The U-Haul car dolly was simple to use and the front wheels just fit on the ramps. Jim said that he could not even fell the difference towing the MG in his Ford F150.

When we got it home I cleaned it up a bit. I pulled out the seats and carpet to get the insides to dry out. There was a small amount of rust on the floor pans, but big damage no holes.

Got the car home with the help of a friend
